News Flash: It is not what happens to us but how we feel about what happens to us that conditions our reality. According to the biologist, Bruce Lipton, “We are not victims of anything other than the programs we are operating from. If your subconscious programs match the wishes and desires of the conscious mind, your life will be one continuous honeymoon experience for as long as you live on this planet. The cells of your body are merely following instructions given by the nervous system, by the brain. The nervous system does the interpretation. As your perception changes, you change the message that your nervous system communicates to the cells of your body. Your mind controls your biology. That’s what the placebo effect is about; the mind believes the pill will work and so it does.”
When you begin to notice that each thought we have is attached to a memory, and every memory is attached to a feeling you begin to discover that this cycle of thinking and feeling, much of which is coming from our unconscious self, determines our behavior. Consequently, if you want to change the condition, you have to stay present. As they quote in Buddhism, being present is having your focus on the conscious mind, which breaks the cycle of what’s being run by the subconscious mind. Moreover, being present means not judging what is happening in each moment; just being aware of it. Once you can be the observer and not the judge of it you respond differently thus creating new pathways of thought patterns and thoughts that fire together start wiring together. You are then well on your way to breaking the habit of being yourself by creating new and more positive ways of being. You are at a higher frequency.

From my experience in order to change you must begin to pay attention to what you are thinking, moment by moment. Thus challenging long-held thoughts and beliefs by choosing new more positive and productive thoughts that are at a higher vibration. Ivalya Vanzant, in her new book, Get Over It, calls this “cognitive behavioral therapy” or thought therapy, ie., “getting your mind right so that you can live better.” She writes, “No matter how much we would like to blame our suffering on people and circumstances seemingly beyond our control, the bottom line is staggeringly simple: anything and everything we experience is a function of what and how we think. How we think determines our feelings and behavior. How we behave determines the nature and quality of our lives. This also means that any emotional investment (feelings) that are attached to a particular thought pattern will resurface each time the pattern is engaged or entertained. To neutralize and eventually eliminate an unconscious, unproductive pattern of thought and the associated feelings, a steady stream of new thoughts must be introduced. I have come to understand that when individuals are suffering through unpleasant or undesirable situations and circumstances, they are often unaware of how they participate in creating or re-creating their experience. In severe cases, when there is an addiction to suffering—meaning that the individuals have accepted their experiences as normal and expect them to remain as they are—there is often a flat-out refusal to acknowledge or accept We are what we think as the truth.”

So how do we end our suffering? One of the ways, according to Abraham Hicks is to hold a new thought for 17 seconds. Doing this we can change our consciousness. If we change our mind we change our life! Once we can accept and change all our limited, fear-based, restricted and negative thoughts whether they are real or imagined through our awareness and intention to take action to change them we are then releasing fears that have held us prisoners up until now.
This is a time of tremendous crisis and tremendous opportunity. We were spreading the bad news for so long; however, the good news is that the new normal is the universe has now become a multiverse with unlimited opportunities and infinite possibilities. This is our time – when we can give birth to a new species and create new technologies that are life changing. We are crafting an entirely new way of walking on this earth that never existed before. Living an examined life of courage and service.

To all of you – thank you for trusting your intuition and letting go of the story that had been playing subconsciously through your life and cultivating a new courage and resilience to make new choices, and thus create great changes that are now paving the way for future generations by mid-wifing a new way of being! You are all precious gems.

How could anyone ever tell you
You were anything less than beautiful
How could anyone ever tell you
You were less than whole
How could anyone fail to notice
That your loving is a miracle
How deeply you’re connected to my Soul. (lyrics by Libby Roderick)

Have a gorgeous day cherishing the wonder of you. I love you dearly.
