As the writer Paulo Coelho wrote, “It’s always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn’t matter what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over.”
Easy to say, easier to write; however; living it, that is the Work! Another chapter… It is with great joy and sadness that I am writing these words. My beautiful friend/mentor/teacher, Joe Ivory has crossed over. Even though I know that my Entourage of Angels will welcome his Spirit, there will be a void in my life without his form here on this earth plane. I wanted to reach out to all of you who have supported his work and have contributed so freely to his financial needs a few months ago. He wrote, “I had the best Birthday ever, because of the pouring out of gifts from All of your Tribe!” Take it personally. There aren’t words to convey my gratitude. When the Divine sends a Teacher into your life, as Joe was sent to me, there aren’t words to language the unconditional love, appreciation and support that Joe shared so generously with me. I will miss his form forever. And, to leave on a happy note, I know he is free! My Buddha-ful friend, Dorothy wrote, “Now, at last He doesn’t have to remember any passwords!”
In light of the last two years, it is very clear that we are the champions. Extraordinary, resilient and courageous human beings! No matter what, we can’t be stopped and we certainly ain’t down yet! We continue to rise and move forward on our journey in ever increasing measure of the magnificent beings WE are! The evolution of the Expanded Self is no easy task, and yet this is where we have landed – more expanded, amplified and evolved!
There is no magic wand, so it is very common for those of us aligned to our spiritual practice to lose that initial love that we have at times. We are all discovering that Spirituality is not about fixing all of our problems. And as Andrew Holecek writes, in his book, ‘The Power and the Pain’, “The earlier we find out about this, the less disappointment we are going to face. We have to let go of all of these fantasies. If we hang on to them, we often run into disappointment and that can sometimes create a huge obstacle to inner awakening. It can completely draw us away from the path. The key to a good journey on the spiritual path is balance. Look at nature: during the course of twenty-four hours it is light half the time and dark half the time. To reject the night is to reject reality itself. The path is about learning how to accept and work with darkness and the inevitable hardships of life just as much as it is about learning how to work with joy. There is irony here in that the path leading to unceasing peace and happiness requires us to fully welcome suffering. It means that hardship is an unavoidable component of waking up. The path does not create suffering, but it presents many opportunities to learn and grow.”
In quantum psychics the motto is ‘We want what we want, and if it is for the highest and best for all, we get it!’ However, the more I immerse myself in my practice I am learning that spirituality is not about making me always feel good. It is about helping me understand what is real for me. As the teacher, A.H. Almaas writes, “When we embark on a spiritual path, we unconsciously believe that we are setting out for heaven.” Having that agenda you can compare it with streaming on Netflix-we just want to be distracted. To not deal with what is happening at that moment. Perhaps feeling we want to run away. But as Trungpa Rinpoche taught: there is no way out. The only way out is through! Being authentic is not about escaping from reality but entering it fully. And this is the source of disappointment and hardship. We want to retreat from our pain, not enter it!
Fast forward. This is certainly a new direction: Collectively and individually we are all the new seekers. Now bigger, better and certainly much more resilient. This isn’t just a new year it is a whole new energetic era here on Planet Earth. Moreover, we are now adjusting to these new energies largely because we are the bridge generation who are moving through the old world order into a whole new world.
As we continue to as never before walk the incredible, diverse and severe path of the ‘eye-of-the-needle’. Seeking to go beyond all our limitations, all that we have ever known, and taking the risk of getting out of our collective boxes at this very intense level by cracking through all that was familiar as well as the collective and ancestral codes that are implanted in our DNA. Along with our new found freedom we now are aware more than ever that nothing can or will ever remain the same.
We now have at our fingertips so many new tools and techniques to upgrade and reboot ourselves as we continue breaking old habits and become our newer selves. Keep tapping into that loving wisdom, it is there waiting for you within the cave of your own heart. In this new dimension we are just beginning to tap into our magic and remember how truly powerful we are. Just know that you were breathed into this universe and how much magic, magnificence and power is innate in our DNA. This is the very being of you.
This is the most amazing time to start a new You ~ We are being given a new canvas to create our masterpiece! These times are giving us so many opportunities for doing things differently now that we are beginning to believe our fate of being as the Masters of our Universe. To finally accept that you are all truly magnificent beings of love, light and magical power. Everything we do as we co-create our new world is based on our intention and our attention to our own worthiness to receive. Change your thinking, and you change your world!
We may not fully be aware yet of what we want; however, my guess is that we are pretty certain of what we don’t want! We are all at the precipice of change. We have all been reborn in some way, and with all these new changes it is now time for us to receive and share this higher frequency. We are here to take the new beginning we have been given now and look for ways to integrate it into our lives and others for the better.
Choose your most beautiful, blissful, loving and most passionate reality possible. We are the dreamers! Let your imagination soar! Become spiritually naked and from a place of love and beauty take your light and illuminate it far and wide into the world. I promise you that your heart will expand and open wider than ever before, your divine destiny will be revealed and your soul will simply soar.
2022 may well have began with chaos and discord out there; however, it doesn’t have to end with that. Remember in every moment as you align with your Higher Divine Self and embrace who you truly are, all that illusion ends and your Magical Self eclipses that old paradigm of who you thought you were. Only then can you be grounded in the Light of your own Self-Mastery.
