Einstein himself said that, “Brilliant new discoveries go hand-in-hand with fun and that great minds ignored rule books, valued creativity and were not bound by structure.” Today, I invite all of you to get on-board with the idea that no matter what is happening in your life, whatever seems hopeless and no matter how much you doubt yourself or others, don’t give up the ship: never be defeated! Carpe Diem! We all need some gentleness now. We all need some healing. We all need a rest from our own minds, a time to take back our power and just be. The time has come to reclaim carpe diem! As T. S. Eliot wrote in his Four Quartets, “Human kind cannot bear very much reality.” This is especially true now; in these incredible times with the energies jostling us from side-to-side. However, whatever this moment is bringing us – it’s all we have!
Roman Krznaric wrote in his book, ‘Carpe Diem’, “My mind keeps returning to a single, stark question: how can I make the most of the time I’ve got left? I have no desire to live in the shadow of regret like Tolstoy’s Ivan Ilyich, who realized, on his deathbed, that he’d wasted his life on vain and superficial pursuits. Our lives are like that of the sparrow that the Venerable Bede wrote about in the eighth century, which flies momentarily through the hall of a great king on a stormy night: The sparrow, I say, flying in at one door, and immediately out at another, whilst he is within, is safe from the wintry storm; but after a short space of fair weather, he immediately vanishes out of your sight, into the dark winter from which he had emerged. So this life of man appears for a short space, but of what went before, or what is to follow, we are utterly ignorant. We are all sparrows, flitting into the warmth and light for an instant, then disappearing out into the darkness. In Bede’s account, a missionary concludes that we should therefore believe in God, to stave off the uncertainty. My own conclusion is that we should seize the day, spreading our wings in full flight in the fleeting moments that we have.”
The best part about seizing the day is evident in the fact that we are not just doing it for ourselves, but for others, and with others. That is how we can transform ourselves and the world at large. Following our Divine plan is holy work. The world is calling out for those of us who are passionate, courageous artists who are aligned in the cosmic energy field of infinity to use their best to serve. To all of you who envision creating global peace and happiness, thank you. Imagine the positive impact you are having by spreading this message. Together we are doing it. We are creating a large movement of peace and love, for ourselves, our family, our entire lineage and all humanity. Not too shabby!
From last week’s full moon in Aquarius, (the thinker of the zodiac), we are all being encouraged even more to open our minds to new possibilities and opportunities. Everyone here – hear this! It is the awakener! This window will not only motivate and compel us to transform our beliefs in our environment,it is also demanding how much more we can love ourselves and everyone around us. It is opening a new window of opportunity to pull us out of our comfort zone and again seize the day! Like falling in love with our life once again, and by crossing the river of change discovering the infinite ways to alter the shape of the world and how we are experiencing it!
When we confront our mortality it can wake us from our dream state and assist us in reassess our priorities. Remembering to live in the moment, creating the best day ever and be here now! This is how we can create something more of our lives. The task in front of us if we wish to take on this mission is to with our intention create meaningful acts and in which we can help serve humanity, instead of serving ourselves. When we have the thoughts, “What’s it all for”, we can dedicate our life to end the suffering in ourselves and others. The greatest gift we can give ourselves and others is to work on our self! Especially, as they say in Buddhism, “All suffering comes from our minds”.
I will end with these wonderful words from the brilliant teacher/author, Meggan Watterson, “This world so many of us, most of us have believed in, retreated to, prayed to, and returned to in death, will be this world right now, too. And we’ll find it’s not this world we’ve ever given up on. It’s that time and again, we’ve given up on the tremendous effort of having to die to our smallest, most terrified self, so that this great big unsayable love inside of us can finally breathe outside of us. The most dangerous thing each of us can do is to give up on this world we can’t see yet. The most dangerous thing you can do is give up on this great big unsayable love inside you. Because here’s what I know: your love is inextricably connected to mine. I will never fully reveal the depths of my heart without you. I will never see this world of love I can only sense with my heart unless you see it, too. This world exists, because I exist and you exist. I will not give up on myself because I refuse to give up on you. You who have never met me and share the same world of love in your heart. Saints and prophets perform miracles, I’ve read. What in the world could ever be more miraculous than this – my heart speaking to your heart directly? When we can see, and understand, the depths of that miracle, of that mystery, there will never be a mountain that we cannot move, together.” By stepping into our higher selves and knowing what we want, we are not only healing ourselves – we are healing humanity. There is strength in numbers and You are SO WORTHY! You are infinite potential. In Each moment we are born again and again — what we do today matters most. Just like Meggan wrote in the paragraph above, “This world exists, because I exist and you exist. I will not give up on myself because I refuse to give up on you.”
Last but not least, remember that you are the Universe in person, the master of two worlds eclipsing the illusion of separateness and transcending the ordinary world of space and time. You are the essence of inner strength, passionate for the possible, giving birth to your creative genius. It’s time for you to return to love in every minute so you can strengthen the experience of who you are and be the embodiment of heaven and earth. This is how we are changing the world. Becoming more coherent, one heartbeat at a time!
