“Dance, when you’re broken open,” Rumi proposes.
“Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.”
Take a leap and dance with me. This is the time for all of us who have been told we can’t have it all to sing out loud – knowing we can and we will. We all deserve more love. More joy. More Health. More abundance. More everything!
By now, most of us have had our hearts broken wide open. However, for me there is no looking back since that is not the direction I choose to go in. I have found in letting go of our losses and moving on, the universe provides us with the opportunity of creating more space to fill ourselves up again with more of anything we desire. As heart-breaking as loss can feel, it also paves the way for our hearts to burst wide open just from the contrast. Mirabai Starr wrote, “And your heart has also been burst open by the beauty that rises up anyway, rises like a lotus from the mud of your singular life, like the rainbow that appears in the east when the sun goes down after a storm, like new green blades slicing tenderly through the soil after a fire. Tragedy and trauma are not guarantees for a transformational spiritual experience, but they are opportunities. They are invitations to sit in the fire and allow it to transfigure us.”
For me, experiencing sorrow and loss has been transcendental. As Isaac Newton once said, “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” With every tear and challenge comes an opportunity to remain open, to cultivate more trust and have faith in the Most High. Through the Divine I have been able to evolve, expand and explore feelings I never had felt before. In rising strong it has made I have become more vulnerable, loving and compassionate. Instead of judgment or blame I can show up for myself in ways I never knew possible. Moreover, for my own journey these experiences have connected me more deeply to other beings who have also endured hardships and challenges.
Once you can transcend your narrative by creating a new story, you are at the precipice of the infinite where all possibilities exist. As Dr. Joe Dispenza says, “Once you surrender long enough to become pure consciousness – to be no thing, no where, no time, no body and no space, in this infinite field lies everything! When you get beyond space and time and linger in the unknown you can transcend your limited self and become your greater self going from somebody to nobody to everybody.” This is where you get to experience something incredible and indescribable. You experience Big Magic for yourself and get to share it with others. What’s more is you are mid-wifing a new humanity for this sweet, wonderful and broken universe.
We are all creating new stories…make yours a masterpiece. It is your legacy woven and told by only You. It will light up the path for others as well. There is a profound knowing you were the one who has gone before, endured, and emerged, amplified and expanded by an indescribable eternal and divine love.
