“When things are shaky and nothing is working, we might realize that we are on the verge of something. Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. When there’s a big shock or disappointment, we don’t know if that’s the end of the story. It may just be the beginning of a great adventure. Life is like that. We don’t know anything. We call something bad; we call it good. But really, we just don’t know.” – Pema Chodron
Dear Courageous StarSeeds,
We are definitely living in a time of extremes and are now in the midst of the largest spiritual, physical, and emotional revolution/evolution in our history. All that is familiar and has occupied our consciousness for thousands of years has fallen by the wayside.
In this brand new and ever evolving terrain, we are more than ever in need of wise and loving guidance so we don’t lose our way amidst the tremendous influx of fear, doubt and uncertainty that is permeating our planet at this very moment.
Giving birth to a new world demands we participate in the creation of new and mindful forms of spiritual practice. Not only do we need to be grounded within the ancient wisdom of all our spiritual ancestors we must cultivate more compassion and know how sensitive we need to be to our immediate needs as human beings in this modern day world.
Even though on the outside there is a plethitude of reasons why we are feeling so much fear, pain, anger and uncertainty, I want to share a different perspective – one that isn’t always user friendly. I believe my suffering happens for a reason. Not because I am a bad person, on the contrary because I Am good and loved and that the Universe/Spirit wants me to go through these experiences for my highest good. I’ve found what I want to avoid (pain and discomfort), is what I’m meant to go through and that my pain teaches me the lessons I need to learn. Almost always coming out of the other side bigger, better and stronger because of it. There I said it. It was through pain that I have been able to grow so much. Through the contrast I Am able to appreciate so much.
To experience any form of transformation, first we must be willing to cross that river of change and free ourselves from all limiting beliefs. We don’t necessarily have to get rid of all of them but be open to new possibilities. To be open to the possibility that change is going to do us good! Our souls don’t care if we are uncomfortable, inconvenienced or upset. Our souls are always steering us in the right direction for our highest good. That’s why if we let go of the reigns and surrender to what is, we can allow ourselves to trust and be guided by the Amazing Grace that is carrying us on gossimar wings. What’s more, in numerology the word Grace comes to a number seven – which is the number of faith and trust!
In David Richo’s book, The Power of Grace, he wrote, “Our forward move on life’s path does not seem to be based solely on our accomplishments, merit, or our sense of worthiness. Something seems to be helping us, an empowering force around us that yet seems to be within us. Episodes and milestones of our lives, we notice that often something beneficial was happening that was not the result of our choice, effort, or expectation. We were somehow guided to or given an impetus to make a leap into something new. That special assistance, unearned, unforeseen, unplanned, often unnoticed, is a description of grace, the gift dimension of life. The experience of grace makes alone. There is something else, and it is reliable, something he cannot conjure but can only call upon. It is from the universe, but it is in him too. This is grace, the invisible star of his—and of every human’s—story. The Force is with Luke because he is important to the galaxy—just as we are. The Force—grace—that is with us so that we too can fulfill our destiny. But Luke also noticed that the Force was not enough. He knew that he would have to contribute his own ingenuity and perseverance in order to fulfill his challenging task. Grace is not meant to do it all. Grace is a gift, but it recruits our effort so we can join in the enterprise. Grace gives us an opportunity; it is up to us to step up to the plate. This can mean acting with courage when the going gets rough. It can mean taking hold and holding on when the time has come to persevere. To know the difference is itself a grace. Our life is thus a combination of what comes to us unbidden and what we choose to do in response.”
And here is a beautiful message from White Eagle, “You were prepared to go through this crisis. Take your toolbox and use all the tools available to you. Learn about resistance of the indigenous and African peoples: we have always been and continue to be exterminated. But we still haven’t stopped singing, dancing, lighting a fire and having fun. Don’t feel guilty about being happy during this difficult time. You do not help at all being sad and without energy. You help if good things emanate from the Universe now. It is through joy that one resists. Also, when the storm passes, each of you will be very important in the reconstruction of this new world. You need to be well and strong. And, for that, there is no other way than to maintain a beautiful, happy and bright vibration. This has nothing to do with alienation. This is a resistance strategy. In shamanism, there is a rite of passage called the quest for vision. You spend a few days alone in the forest, without water, without food, without protection. When you cross this portal, you get a new vision of the world, because you have faced your fears, your difficulties …
This is what is asked of you:
Allow yourself to take advantage of this time to perform your vision seeking rituals. What world do you want to build for you? For now, this is what you can do: serenity in the storm. Calm down, pray every day. Establish a routine to meet the sacred every day. Good things emanate; what you emanate now is the most important thing. And sing, dance, reset through art, joy, faith and love. Reset-Be reborn”
Last but not least, Lorna Bevan wrote, “We are all living a little closer to the edge of existence in suspended, liminal time, on the verge of something big. It’s now plainly obvious that life does not always go on as usual. And in that truth are potentially great blessings. You are not failing; you are not dying – you are re-orienting.”
These times have brought so many sudden changes, shocks and challenges as well as so many opportunities for doing things differently. Know that you were made for this and what we do now and how we respond will determine the outcome from all of this. We are so much more adaptable to change than we ever thought. Know at this auspicious time that there are infinite possibilities. Anything and Everything is possible. Take pause, you are your own magical wand. Don’t give up the ship! Expect Miracles!
