After the craziness of the past few months, many of us feel like we’re a million miles away from our center. For myself it feels like I was dropped off on a parallel universe and re-entry has been quite challenging. So the question is how do we find our way back to our north star to our center point of truth and vibrate with what is happening rather than resisting our current state of affairs? How do we stay mindful so we can be in touch with the miracles that surround and are all around us everywhere, at any time?
While life is filled with so much joy and so many wonderful and miraculous things at the same time many of us at this auspicious time are filled with incredible sadness and grief. Uncertainly and crazy making seems to be permeating the planet.
And so, just for this moment, I invite you to stop, look and listen. To love yourself for how far you have already come. To be happy for what you have already accomplished. As Thich Nhat Hanh wrote in his books, “If we are not happy, if we are not peaceful, we cannot share peace and happiness with others, even those we love.”
Right now, even though You may or may not feel you have the perfect relationship, the great job, or the infinite health you seek, from my experience, you don’t have to wait for things on the outside to change to feel good. We are in the time capsule for the entire process of rebirth and regeneration to create a new story, a new life a new paradigm of who we are- or wish to be! And the sacred medicine is self-sovereignty. To love ourselves and to be able to surrender with whatever is coming up knowing the universe wants more for us than we could ever create for ourselves. Everyday I ask Divine Love to show me more Love. And everyday I receive more love. Our world rises up to whatever we ask for – because that is what we are focusing on.
Many of us are holding on the past – with deep claw marks! We are latching on to what felt familiar to feel safe again. However, the new world requires checking in with our Selves moment to moment to stay centered in NOW! In studying different tribes like the Hopi Indians it was discovered that these cultures didn’t have word like past, present or even now. It was just understood this is the only time! The only space to create from… Even though we are feeling stagnation, exhaustion and weariness there has never been a more opportune time to feel inspired and excited about creating a new chapter. We are at the threshold of putting all the pieces together and discovery that it is all about just being the Love we have come here to be.
According to the great Lorna Bevan, “The Earth is pregnant with alternate futures. Each of her progeny, each possible future could become the one chosen. The criteria center around whichever future stream is most genuinely surrendered to the highest will. It is the same micro cosmically as macro cosmically. Many souls are pregnant with alternate futures. The one that prevails will likely be the one most surrendered to the absolute, the most rightful. You feel burstingly full of visions, possibilities, worlds, and streams. And you know that so very much shall pass away, but what is essential will keep on coming. It is very hard to tell who is who and what is what, which way to lean or how to conceive the way it shall go. But if you stay rooted in your inward awareness and enduring core sensibility, you will be tapped as a vessel for what is to be, and that is all you need to know.”
All of us at one time or another must travel the invisible paths within ourselves. The journey from fear to love. An experience that we may never be able to put into words. What a gift it is be be alive right now and to have the gift of loving ourselves and others with all of our hearts and souls, fiercely, bravely and passionately without conditions. Even though each experience may fade into oblivion we still carry on to keep meeting ourselves again and again and enjoying what life has to bring us in this moment. To be able to carry on, to insist on life and nothing less, even though it can be heart-breaking. And here lies the secret: The only meaning of life is this moment. To know we are the Source. Our soul knows it has succeeded just by showing up and shining brightly. We are the Light. Moreover, no matter how many voices try to dissuade you otherwise, always remember to not forsake your highest vow—the promise to awaken as a soul and not go back to sleep!
