Are you feeling this massive shift from the eclipse? From all my research I conducted shows that the message for September is renewal. Something is being asked of all of us. To be willing to write a new story. A story with you having a higher expression of who you thought you were. To create a new story line of want you want to experience your life regardless of how you expected it to be. So stay close to your core. Trust more than ever knowing in each moment you are choosing your reality through each thought and intention. In this new paradigm it’s okay to feel shaky, not knowing anymore with any certainly what will be, will be. To bear witness that life is not exactly turning out the way you thought it would. While also knowing it can be far greater than you ever thought!
One of the essential keys is to ask yourself are you willing to let it all go of it all to bring in that higher expression? Beyond who you every thought you could be?
In Brene Brown’s book ‘Rising Strong’, she coined the term Badassery. Even though she admitted it’s a strange term it captured the essence of seeing others stand fully in their truth, falling down, getting back up, and saying, “Damn. That really hurts, but this is important to me and I’m going in again.” That’s a badass! To be willing to show up and be authentically you. To be able to cultivate enough awareness, to speak up and have compassion for ourselves. Regardless of the consequences to stand in our own truth!
What’s more in order for us to be willing to write a new story we have to be vulnerable. We have to have the courage to show up and be seen even if it means risking disappointment, failure, hurt, shame and or having our hearts broken. We have to be a badass and risk the illusion of imperfection by taking the risk to say ‘I deserve more’. Whether it’s limitless love or limitless money. It is essential to ask for what we want. To being authentically ourselves.
In Brown’s other book ‘Daring Greatly’, she quoted Theodore Roosevelt from his 1910 Man in the Arena speech. “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.”
This nine month of September is ushering us in to the corridor of lettering go and releasing whatever doesn’t serve us, thus creating the field for the seeds we are planting to germinate. Andrew Martin points out in this month is, “The renewal of the self, of the planet, and of our societies. Most importantly the renewal of our reality in each moment. As the bifurcation from the lower 3D timelines continues to manifest, September holds the promise of renewal. Now is the only moment you ever live. The present moment will always require something new from you. If you are new in each moment, then what good are old stories, patterns, and habits of thought? Beyond who you believe you are; beyond what you have been told you are, lies the truth.”
To give birth to a newer you and create a new story we have to dare greatly. We have to let go of allowing the mind trying to figure how it all relates to what we have known up until know. Moreover, how could we possibly even try to control it knowing we are all in un-chartered territories.
As we rise up and create a newer version of ourselves with a clearer sense of purpose, I thought these core values would be helpful as we re-write the guidelines for Wholehearted Living from Brown’s book ‘Rising Strong’.
- Cultivating authenticity; letting go of what people think
- Cultivating self-compassion; letting go of perfectionist
- Cultivating a resilient spirit; letting go of numbing and powerlessness
- Cultivating gratitude and joy; letting go of scarcity and fear of the dark
- Cultivating intuition and trusting faith; letting go of the need for certainty
- Cultivating creativity; letting go of comparison
- Cultivating play and rest; letting go of exhaustion as a status symbol and productivity as self-worth
- Cultivating calm and stillness: letting go of anxiety as a lifestyle
- Cultivating meaningful work: letting go of self-doubt and ‘supposed to”
- Cultivating laughter, song and and dance; letting go of being cool and “always in control”
There is a whisper within each of us to create something bigger. That whisper within each of us calling to remind of of all we could be, and all that we are.
That whisper is a call for us to write that new story. No one else can hear that voice but you. That whisper if at the origin of all that you are. We are here to learn. And the universe responds to those to take action while putting themselves on that line to dare to take the risk by rising strong. Life celebrates those who take risks and keep moving into the unknown ever moment. To live our bliss is the purpose of our lives. In order to align yourself on the journey we must dare greatly. The only way to match the outrageous suffering in life is to meet it with outrageous love. You will never walk alone on your Hero’s journey. Once you bring forth your special gifts I promise you the universe will conspire to support you. You only have to dare greatly once you have committed to listening to what that little whisper has to tell you. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “All life is an experiment.” The more experiments you make the better.” It’s our job to follow our bliss and once you do it what makes us come alive.
You are being asked to re-enchant and re-imagine your world, and to see it with a new vision. The best place to start would be to open into your heart and in its limitless potential ask your heart’s wise and wild intelligence what is the greatest and grandest version I can be for myself today. Start there and then with unconditional love, compassion and self-discovery I invite you to start creating your masterpiece.
