Sometimes, life asks us to stop. Not because we are doing something wrong, but because something within us is ready to change.
We are moving through an extraordinary retrograde season. Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are retrograde, along with Chiron. And perhaps the most personal invitation comes from Mercury, the planet associated with our mind and communication, and Venus, the planet associated with love, relationships and self-worth, both moving retrograde at the same time.
What might this mean for us?
Perhaps the invitation is to slow down. Completely.
To step back from the noise, the pushing, the forcing and the endless need to figure everything out. To turn inward and honor our mind, body and soul before taking another step forward.
This is a time for reflection, reassessment and a deeper spiritual awakening.
When so much feels suspended, we may begin to wonder whether things are falling apart. But what if they aren’t? What if some things are simply being rearranged so we can create a life that reflects who we are becoming?
Our old patterns, limiting beliefs and familiar stories may be asking to be revisited. Perhaps we are finally recognizing where we have settled for less than we deserve, where we have given too much of ourselves away, or where we have forgotten our own worth.
And then there is love.
You cannot continually pour into everyone else while leaving yourself empty. You cannot love others more deeply by abandoning yourself.
Learning to love, honor and value ourselves is not selfish. It is essential.
This is our opportunity for a soul rest, a soul clearing and a deep recalibration before the next expansion. We don’t have to force answers, chase outcomes or figure out every detail of what comes next.
Sometimes the most courageous thing we can do is allow ourselves to be still.
Listen to what is being revealed. Release what no longer belongs. Make room for a new way of thinking, feeling, loving and living.
And remember, a pause is not a failure. Rest is not giving up. Changing direction is not losing your way.
Perhaps we are being invited to create a new relationship with ourselves, one built on greater compassion, self-respect, trust and unconditional love.
So, as we move through this season, I invite you to embrace a new affirmation:
I honor the pause. I trust what is being revealed. I release what no longer serves my highest good. I am worthy of the love I so freely give to others. The Divine is preparing me for what comes next.
And perhaps what comes next is even more beautiful than anything we have imagined.
What if we allowed ourselves to believe that?
Sending you so much love, light and gratitude. Have a fabulous weekend. May you find peace in the pause, magic in the unfolding and miracles in the moments yet to come.
